This blows my mind but theres so many members here with decent to great systems but they have a dirty little secret lurking inthe closet ..........STASH!!!!!!!!

You guys are stashing away audio keeping it for yourselves hoping no one will find out but I'm here to find out the truth by digging deep into the dark world of .......STASH!!!!!!!

Come clean in this intervention and list the audio speakers and components you have tucked away .Its the first step in recovering from the diseased mindset of ......STASH!!!!!

Have the courage ,you can do it by listing whats not in use right now

Why would we need an intervention?

If it's my stuff and I paid for it, I don't see the problem?

I haven't made any deal on the SDAs. I bought them in the late 80s at "Good Guys". You probably are thinking of someone else.

    ..and it's a good policy.

I'll expound on why I'm fairly secretive.....let's just say (and this is all based on real events) that I've a Cuticle Research Asswhopper in my closet. Let's say, I picked it up on the cheap at a garage sale. Pretty soon, the PM's/emails come 'say, I've been looking for the Asswhopper.....would you slide it my way (at your cost)'.....to which I reply, thanks, but no thanks. Some time passes, BDT needs to raise some fundage and posts the Asswhopper in the FM, at a profit for yours truly (but still less than going retail). Well, then the hate mail comes. You rotten, profit-taking SOB. etc etc etc....if you really gave a **** about the forum, you'd pass it on at cost....etc etc.

    Eff that.

I'm willing to pay whatever you ask for a Cuticle Research Asswhopper. I've wanted one for years. Name your price. I will forward a cashiers check to you from my bank in Nigeria. The amount will be many times more than what you ask. Double the price to keep for yourself and send me the rest along with the Cuticle Research Asswhopper. You get big bucks and I get a Cuticle Research Asswhopper. A win-win...no?

    Your friend....:D

Not really. I was killing some time at work waiting for software to finish running. However, I was just looking at all that stuff the other day and wondering if I should start offloading some, but I probably won't. One never knows when you will need a spare.

The interesting thing is, for me, I can see the evolutionary trend of lower end mass market equipment, which does sound good, to my current setups. Some of the stuff (SDAs), I had for years, other items were short lived. Not because they were bad, but because I thought "Wow, if this sounds so good then (fill in the blank) must sound better."

Did I mention that my very very good friend Ajani Tokunbo has just recieved a great gift from your country in the form of an inheitance of much wealth? It is in US dollar. He cannot bring it home due to our law. He would very much like more Asswhopper gears if you have them. I will have him call you as you are a joyous man.
