Trading HD to Blue

Not sure if everyone saw this, but Warner Brothers is taking your HD dvd's and will send you a BR disc in return for $5 plus $2 shipping. In some cases they are sending a special edition BR disk, in cases where they aren't making the exact duplicate.

Not terrible, maybe the other losers in the war will reconcile as well!

    I wish they would take regular DVDs. I am tired of rebuying BRs.

    It's not worth the hassle or cost for me since I have so many HD DVDs and several players, but for someone with just a few titles and wanting to get an extra player out of the mix it's nice.
