Picking a subwoofer (DSW Pro 600 vs DSWmicroPRO3000)

Hi all,
Current System:
Recently I decided to upgrade (redo from scratch) my speaker system. I picked up 2 Monitor 70's for fronts (new), CSi5 center (refurbished from polk direct, not a single scratch! ), and then I was going to get 2 more Monitor 70's for the back but instead decided to go for 2 RTi A9's (new) for the front and move the monitors to the back.
Currently I am using a 12 inch 350 watt Onkyo subwoofer (which I got for free). It sounds fine, but fine doesn't exactly suit my new system now.
This is all powered by an Onkyo 7.1 130 (140?) wpc receiver. Eventually I'm going to be adding some power to that, but not right now.
Subwoofer Question:
What would fit my system better? A DSW Pro 600 or perhaps a DSWmicroPRO3000? Unfortunately I don't have a place near me that would let me test these subs. So I have to pick one without listening to it first .
Also the DSW Pro 600 has line in and speaker out. What's this for exactly? Does it mean I can use a 3.5mm to RCA cable and bypass the reciever completely (connect speakers to the sub) if I went for 2.1? Or is it something else entirely?
Thanks for reading!

Welcome to Club Polk. "Line in" refers to using RCA connectors from the left and right pre-outs on the back of a rcvr./ preamp. "Speaker in" refers to running the speaker wires from the terminals off the back of your rcvr./ power amp, to the sub in, then back out to front right and left speakers.
As far as mixing the speakers like that, it's not recommended, due to timbre matching.
Recommend either all RTi/ RTiA line, or all Monitor line. As far as the sub goes, both are fine.I refuse to argue with idiots, because people can't tell the DIFFERENCE! -
I'd go Micropro 3000, but the DSW 600 will have more output.
