Nice trick shot... but try that with the ice full of people trying to take you out...Ludicrous gibs!

I love the goal tender's reaction at the end....:D

Steve Stamkos of the Tampa Bay Lightning is a very good trick shot artist, the kid may have learned a thing or from watching him .Testing

Looked more like a lacrosse shot, than a hockey goal?I refuse to argue with idiots, because people can't tell the DIFFERENCE!

I do know there is some rule about playing the puck forward with a high stick. I found this and it appears to answer my own question...Rule 80 - High-sticking the Puck
80.1 High-sticking the Puck – Batting the puck above the normal height of the shoulders with a stick is prohibited. When a puck is struck with a high stick and subsequently comes into the possession and control of a player from the offending team (including the player who made contact with the puck), either directly or deflected off any player or official, there shall be a whistle.
When a puck has been contacted by a high stick, the play shall be permitted to continue, provided that:
(i) the puck has been batted to an opponent (when a player bats the puck to an opponent, the Referee shall give the “washout” signal immediately. Otherwise, he will stop the play).
(ii) a player of the defending side shall bat the puck into his own goal in which case the goal shall be allowed.
Cradling the puck on the blade of the stick (like lacrosse) above the normal height of the shoulders shall be prohibited and a stoppage of play shall result. If this is done by a player on a penalty shot or shootout attempt, the shot shall be stopped immediately and considered complete. The Gear... Carver "Statement" Mono-blocks, Mcintosh C2300 Arcam AVR20, Oppo UDP-203 4K Blu-ray player, Sony XBR70x850B 4k, Polk Audio Legend L800 with height modules, L400 Center Channel Polk audio AB800 "in-wall" surrounds. I miss playing hockey. I had a couple guys who'd pull shots like that from behind the net. Scoop it up and throw it in the top corner. Others would scoop it up, toss it up and then baseball hit it to the other end (clearly with no one around). It was a rec league so it wasn't always gung-ho... Great stuff.Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.
Home Setup: Sony VPL-VW85 Projo, 92" Stewart Firehawk, Pioneer Elite SC-65, PS3, RTi12 fronts, CSi5, FXi6 rears, RTi6 surround backs, RTi4 height, MFW-15 Subwoofer.
Car Setup: OEM Radio, RF 360.2v2, Polk SR6500 quad amped off 4 Xtant 1.1 100w mono amps, Xtant 6.1 to run an eD 13av.2, all Stinger wiring and Raammat deadener. -
Like I thought "Cradling the puck on the blade of the stick(like lacrosse)above the normal height of the shoulders shall be prohibited"
So what Sid did would be a goal in the NHL.Testing
