pioneer BDP-121 blu ray player anyone know if this unit is any good? Buy.com has it for $144 with free shipping. I was thinking of picking it up.

121 is supposedly pretty decent unit. Not a bad price either. Give it a shot, if you don't like it, return and try something else. The latest and greatest is the Oppo BDP-83 if the budget allows.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

IMO for the size tv you are getting you are not going to have to worry about getting the highest end BR player. At that size there is not going to be as much detail needed as with a 42 inch tv.HT setup
