Mod Potential for SDA CRS

Considering to buy a pair of SDA CRS speakers. Would like to know the upgrade potentials for the CRS in comparison with the CRS+.

I read in the forum about many successful upgrades for the CRS+ (4.1TL mod). Has anyone done the same for the CRS? Or would it be better if I just wait for the CRS+?
