Music, Movies, Maybe Cables

I am looking for good surround sound dvd's or maybe blu rays as well. I am also looking for concert dvd's as well. Maybe music cd's as well. Also a few HDMI cables they do not have to be crazy like some 200 buck cables.

Do you have specifics in mind? I have some BluRays I don't watch anymore that are quite good, and a few CD's that don't get much play either. Can you give some detail, or are you buying everything????

I am a guy that love to open his mind to new music and all. I mean my collection ranges from bob marley to jimmy buffett to linkin park to kenny g I mean I have a big area I could listen to stuff. For movies I like action, comedy, and others but there my primary.

Might as well make the upgrade worthwhile.

I'm not sure what you could get for much less than that that would be a huge upgrade. Bummer i didn't still have both my Mirage S8s at that point, that would have fit the bill.

What's your budget, i can look around for you, or try to make a suggestion. I'd love to work with you on the price for the Klipsch, but i think i've already got it priced lower than i really should. $300 would get it shipped to your door, though.

Just tell us what your budget for the sub only is, and let's see what we can find you.

Cool man, I think if I could get a audio install done this coming weekend I might be able to buy your sub. But that is a big if. My budget right now is low for a sub considering it is only once in a while when i can actually use it. But around 200 is my limit.

If you've already got $200, at the risk of sounding like a hard-drive salesman, i would just hold onto it and try to come up with the other $100.

Seems silly to let that $100 keep you from getting something that will really fill up your room.

I'm waiting to hear back from the guy i sold the S8 to, though... there's a small chance that he may want to exchange it for the klipsch. If that happens, i'll let you know immediatey.

But i'd ask the people that have heard this sub if it's worth waiting to get the other $100 for. Mmadden28 has the same sub, and Nikolas812 heard it this weekend. I didn't beat the piss out of it for him, but the way it blends is unreal. He had to ask me a few times if it was on or off.

I apologize if that sounds like high-pressure to you, not my intention. Won't kill me to keep it, especially now that my HT setup is just about done.


I'll also look around for you tonite and tomorrow to see what $200 can get you.

I've got a few Blu's i'm willing to part with. All are in perfect used condition. First is 'The Host'...a cool monster movie with great sound and awesome video (The Monster looks incredible). I also have Max Payne. This will put your subwoofer (Especially if you buy the Klipsch to the test...it's got a pretty awesome soundtrack, but just not a great movie. I used it mostly to show off the sound system. Lastly, I've got 'The Fifth Element' which is a nice overall disc - great video and audio, and it's a very well done movie. Let me if you have any interest in any of them.
