Looking for a matched, balanced pair of RCA 12AU7 Clear top (side getters) I'd like to try out. Extra funds should free up in just a few days, wanted to see if anyone's got a pair here to sell or can direct me to a reputable seller that has these tubes. :D

    Thanks, been hearing that these are great for my pre so thought I'd give them a try. Got a pair of Mullards in there right now, but would like to try something else out. Let me know in PM after you test them! :)

    Also looking to try a pair of JJ/Tesla 12AU7's to compare with the current Mullards and RCA cleartops I should be picking up from 187CAM.

    Thanks for that, though it'll be kind of hard to find out what makes the biggest sound difference. The tubes, IC's I'm asking Ben about or once I clean the dirty-as-hell contacts on the fuse holders of my speakers.

    I'm waiting to get my tester back that is out on loan. I know these are in good shape but I want some readings before I move them along to another good home. I just want you guys to be happy. BTW...several others have asked about the extras I have. Same answer here. I need to test what I have. I'll get back to you soon.
