Hi; Does anyone have an original factory cable that can check continuity of the flat pin end to end? I have read in posts here that it is open. Please correct me if I am wrong, but that would mean that the speakers cross talk through the round pin, completing the circuit through the black connection on the speakers through the amplifier. Both speakers have the flat pin connected straight to the black terminals on the back of the speaker connection plate which would explain why the speakers must be hooked up in correct phase for the SDA to work properly and why just one wire is needed. One more fix that worked out neat was I had 3 broken binding posts. Since I am not biwiring the speakers I used two posts in each speaker and hooked up the jumper with an 8-32 machine screw and a washer on each side of the jumper to complete the connction. Any help; Thanks!

for now you can use a speaker wire, just jab the wires in as best you can make sure you don't cross them, pin to pin and blade to blade and you will be fine.
I'm sure others will chime in on this as well.

Speaker cable with RCA's connected at the ends(collars removed) will get you by just fine when using amplifiers that are "common ground"--Keep us posted--enjoy.:)
JC approves....he told me so. (F-1 nut)

The flat spade on the IC is for support....or strain relief.
