Ok, I am running a Memphis Audio amp putting out 1,200 watts @ 4 ohms.... it's a 2 channel so that's 600 watts per channel and around 300 RMS.... That sould be plenty to satify the GNX's put there is one small problem... If I crank it up it smells kinda like hot silicon the box is a bandpass I am worried about fryin em but they should be ok at that wattage or I think they sould... They sound good no distortion or anything like that....

So Am I good to go???
Or Like Emeral Say "Let's Kick it up a Notch"
PS- The magnet on the speaker is warm to hot but not so hot you can't touch it...

dude turn that **** down -- thats 600 rms not 300 rms / 600 max... if the specs u gave me are right its 600 RMS per channel @ 4.

gnx's should not get hot -- my DX's almst never got hot... and not once have my IDmaxes "smelled" -- and i pour juice on them like fudge on a sundae.

you may be killing your subs.
