LSi 9 power
I currently have a yamaha 5560 reciever (75 watts X 6) driving my Monitor 5B's as mains. I wanted some new sound and bought B&W 602 S3's. I listened to them for 3 days and concluded that they sound dry and thin especially in the midrange. Vocals were clean though. My old Polks sounded better especially on strings. I returned the B&W's. I am currently thinking about getting the LSi 9's. Has anybody compared them to the older polk speakers such as the Monitor series or RTA's. And will my reciever be able to handle the 4 ohm rating. I mostly play my music at low to moderate levels.
