for a change. Our new best friends in Central America-

Honduras, on the verge of civil war, really needing some love- qualified last night for the World Cup courtesy of a last-second goal by the U.S. to tie Costa Rica in RFK stadium.
(The U.S. had severely hampered Honduras' chances last Saturday by beating them at home 3-2.)

p.s. props to the US Men's National Team for qualifying with 2 extremely exciting last qualifier games, condolences to the family of injured striker Charlie Davies and get-well-soon to Gooch Onyewu who blew out a knee last night 10 minutes from the end.

The guys start screaming here about 26 seconds in in reaction to the U.S. score which enabled Honduras to qualify.
