Anybody ever used them for audio?
I have a couple of these (PowerVar 6.0 (m/n# ABC60011W) rated 6A.) from work that were getting ditched-so they cost nada. They used to have the office servers or switches running through them. Probably new in '96.

Found these specs:
They work but at least one of them cuts out after a while (the circuit breaker in the power switch trips after about 30-40 mins of use). I opened the failing one up and noticed some charring under the resistor. I suppose I could fix that if its worth the effort.
Note the charring

And the same charred board flipped over--The resistor itself is a bit charred. I can't quite read the value

It's got a 720VA Torroidal transformer in there--If nothing else I should be able to put that to use somewhere right??/ Can't find any information on the transformer--Found the compay website, but nothing on this transformer.

Doesn't look like there is much to it.
