I have a pair of DCM's F 12's and they need new surrounds. Is it even worth having them redone?

For me, it wouldn't be. I have a pair of almost 20 year old RTA-8Ts. If they ever decide to give out or a part becomes too worn, I will simply replace them. They certainly don't owe me anything.Marantz AV-7705 PrePro, Classé 5 channel 200wpc Amp, Oppo 103 BluRay, Rotel RCD-1072 CDP, Sony XBR-49X800E TV, Polk S60 Main Speakers, Polk ES30 Center Channel, Polk S15 Surround Speakers SVS SB12-NSD x2

New surrounds are so easy to do once you get past being intimidated. You have nothing to lose but maybe $40-$50 for the surrounds . If you like the speakers, nothing can replace the satisfaction of fixing them yourself.
Good luck with whatever you decide .
