I have for sale the following:

RT800's: I purchased these a month ago or so but fell into a deal on some RT2000p's. Functionally perfect and basically new speakers since the last owner had them in storage for most of the time he owned them. Cosmetically, they are probably a 6 out of 10 (hence the price). Cat scratches on the lower part of one of them and a pen tip sized hole in one of the grills. For Polkies, I'm offering them for what I have in them. $100 Local Pickup in San Diego County. I don't want to mess with shipping them.

CS400: I am the original owner. 9 out of 10 cosmetically. Just don't need it as I use the CS1000 in my theater. $200 Shipped CONUS OBO.

LS/fx: These are oldies but goodies. I picked them up years ago. In fact, they were my first set of Polk speakers. I am not the original owner. Drivers are all in good shape. Cosmetically, I'd say 7 out of 10 for age and some wear but I did buy all new grills for them after I bought them. $100 Shipped CONUS OBO.

    Seeing as though I can't seem to figure out how to edit my original post, please accept this as the updated description. I got around to taking some pictures and it seems I missed a few defects that need to be disclosed so here goes:

    CS400 is actually a CS400i (not a defect) :) but it has the following updated description:
    Drivers are in excellent, like-new condition. Laminate is peeling on the left side of speaker (see pic) Would be noticeable if speaker is not in a cabinet. Small dent on top of speaker (see pic). Some scratches on bottom of speaker cabinet - not noticeable unless you have it levitating. Missing some of the rubber feet on the bottom and those are easily replaced. Grill is in mint condition. Updated Price $175 OBO Shipped CONUS for condition reasons.

    LS/fx: Condition is very good for their age. Some scratches on the top of one of the cabinets. One of the grills as the pegs broken off. Looks like the previous owner hot-glued them back on and the glue finally gave out. Not sure if Polk still stocks the grills but they were about $8ea when I bought them. The grill could probably be hot-glued back in place. Drivers seem to be in excellent condition. These have the Silver Tri-laminate dome tweeters. Still asking $100 OBO shipped CONUS.

    RT800's: Original description is fine.

    This is a fantastic price on a great center channel speaker. I have 2 and they go great with the older stuff in a surround set-up. I use mine mostly for music with an occasional movie and they are great. Somebody pick this up.

    Thanks for the plug! If I had the need for another 5.1 setup, I sure wouldn't be selling it. It's a great speaker. Wish Polk had done their research on the laminate so that it didn't peel but for someone out there with a nice TV cabinet, they'll get a great speaker and won't notice the peeling.

    If you still have the pegs, you can fix that grill very effectively. You need a 1/32" drill bit, a paper clip, and some CA glue, preferably gel type. Drill holes in center of peg and where the peg used to be on the grill. Cut a 3/8" length of the paper clip, and insert with glue into the peg, then apply glue to the peg and surface, and mount. It's there for good.

    Yes, I have done this. Works superbly. Go to Drill Bit City and buy the bits.

    Needle nose plyers will get them out. Best to use them in their original locations, so note that.

    Received VIA FedEx this afternoon. Exactly as described and well packed. Have them running as mains as I type just to test out. Very nice condition for age. Nice thing about the black cabinets is a black sharpie does wonders to fix any imperfections. Buy or sell with Doug with confidence. Thanks!
