SRS 2.3 tl Questions

I've recently purchased a pair of SDA-SRS 2.3 tl, , and wonder if there is a link to a .pdf fine online for the _correct manual_. I've found other Polk manuals, but not for this specific speaker. Thanks, DarqueKnight for the .pdf wiring info docs posted to the site!
An engineer went over both speakers which were pronounced healthy after a couple repairs (and yes, I do have the interconnect cable).
I'm considering refinishing the cabinets and grills. Has anyone had good luck with recovering the fabric sides, or can recommend (link?) any particular fabric(s) or grill cloth(s) especially suitable? Do the cabinet tops/bottom remove easily for refinishing?
Sound and "stereo imaging" on these SDA's are awesome, to say the least. My Yamaha CA-1010 integrated amp seems to have no problem driving them (to sound levels I care to listen to!). That amp weighs close to 50 pounds and is no doubt in another category than many present-day components weighing half as much and rated twice (or more) the power........
I see "generic" online references to modifications people have done to the SRS speakers. Are any judged phenomenally effective? If so, in what regard?

Welcome to Club Polk! And congrats on the great speakers
There is a great wealth of information here regarding the 2.3tl. Many members here, especially F1Nut and DarqueKnight, have already done all the research, and have been generous enough to post all of their findings for us. Over the past several months, I have read through their results, and have ended up with the mods shown in my sig. These speakers always sounded great, but the mods that these guys suggest, IMO, put them in another league.
I would start by just using the search function to track down the threads regarding 2.3tl mods and go from there.
Have fun!Primary System

I have a pair of 2.3tl that I rescued from the chainsaw massacre house. I re-finished the wood tops re clothed the grill and sides. Then upgraded the tweets and replaced a few blown MW. the sides have to be pried off gently with a putty knife and the wood top and bottom unbolt from inside. It does not matter on cloth for the sides but for the grills you can get specific cloth form Jo-anns fabric or from parts express.
This might help

Seems whenever I "search" with a number in the search field I get "zero" results....... -

Sorry. Try searching using SDA instead of 2.3tl. "SDA crossovers", "SDA mods", "SDA spikes", were just a few phrases that brought me some good results.Primary System
