Looking for everyone's thoughts on the RTiA5's v.s. the TSi500's. They would be used in a 2 channel setup with a Harman Kardon 3490, room is long and narrow (about 25 x 15) with no open entries and a 10ft cieling.
Thanks
Thanks

The RTiA5 will be much better on 2ch and movies. The A5s are great speakers

I forgot the two were so close in price. I thought that was a pretty unfair comparison, but with the volume savings newegg is offering on the RTI they're pretty close. I guess the most I can offer in terms of opinion is that I love my Monitor 70s for both music and HT. Then again they aren't TSI500s, and I've never heard the RTIa5s....
Hope that helps?

The RT line more high end than TSi's.

The RTiA5's kind of lack in the low end department compared to the TSi500's. The RTi line is a bit on the bright side too, which some don't like. The TSi series by comparison has a slightly more laid back, mellower sounding tweeter.
IMO, the TSi500's would probably make for a better 2 channel speaker. They've got more low end extension, and a slightly more musical high end(IMO).The nirvana inducer-
