George Kaye designed amp from NYAL. Extremely hard to find in any condition, and if you can tell by the pictures in the other thread this one is pretty well kept. Upgraded binding posts, a now removable IEC cord so you can upgrade power cords, there was one mod added from the huge list of mods countless owners do on this thing (cut down noise-hum when there was no signal), and upgraded speaker wire from posts to PCBoard. Similar completely stock models have gone for over $600 in crap condition so consider this a nice deal. Rated 150wpc @8ohm/300wpc @4ohm, and has run Maggies beautifully. Used this amp for a pair of SDA 1C's.
If you didn't already notice, I'm having to part with all my audio. I can however take this with me if it doesn't sell but I'd prefer a new start on things in regards to my audio setup. So I'm looking for $700 cash or a straight trade for a tubed amp or tubed preamp. Let me know what you have, local only.
