Happy Thanksgiving to all the Canadians out there. I love the smell of all that food cooking but know that colder days are in front of us. Eat well and enjoy my friends. :)

In the NORTH we celebrate everything (Thanksgiving, Canada Day, Christmas, New Years, Halloween, Easter, Labour Day, Remembrance Day, Victoria Day, Valentines Day... Birthdays and Audio Day (which is any and every day)). All the old fashion customs that the bleeding hearts have taken away from a lot of areas.

Happy Thanksgiving to Canada, and an adventurous Columbus day to those south of the border. Although we are in Boston, we celebrated both occasions with a hearty corned beef boiled dinner. . . all by our two-zies. Nap time~

I know us Americans celebrate Thanksgiving in thanks to the native americans who saved our asses.

Is it the same for Canada? Or are they thankful for something else?

Two Canadians are sitting around the house watching hockey, when the power goes out.
The one looks over to his friend and says, "Let's play 20 Questions, eh?"
His friend says, "How do we play that?"

"Well, I think of something, and you get to ask me 20 questions to figure out what I'm thinking of. If you guess, you win. If you can't guess, I win."

    His friend responds, "Alright then."

"I'll start it out, and you guess." says the first.

His friend immediately says, "Can you eat it?"

    "Yes."

    "Is it moose ****?"

    "Short game, eh?"

I'm NOT gloating, but, yeah, you guys got hosed in that deal.

If it's any consolation, there are people in Boston, to THIS day, that STILL want to see Harry Sindens head on stick for the Orr and Espo gaffs;)

Well, this was the weekend to redo the roof. Stripped the the old shingles and installed all of the new stuff.

CONs: One of the worse home maintenance job, pain in the ar$e...
PROs: I got to spend some quality time with both of my sons... Will NOT redo that roof in my lifetime (unless bad luck occurs) as I will be too old for such ;)

Crappy job but a good time with the boys, no turkey but good meals in restaurant and shared a few beers... eh, can you ask for any better? ;)

    Cheers!

Yes! not doing the roof (having someone else freeze their a$$es off), great home cooked meals and sharing LOTS of beer. ;)

Glad you enjoyed the time with your family!
