5B Speakers

I recently bought a pair of 5B speakers from a coworker and was wondering if anyone had any info about them? What year they are from, how much the retail value was initially when they were released, and also what the re-sale value of them is? Any information would be great.

    We would need a pic? There were (3) versions essentially, each with different tweeters, (2) with different cabinets and some had a fuse for tweeter protection on the rear terminal cup.

    The dates of production range from about 1982-1990 roughly.

    Orig retail was around:

    $300-450.

    A nice pair of later model 5B's will bring about $100
    Earlier pair with peerless tweeters probably about $125

    This is assuming they are mint in every way, otherwise about $75

    P.s. (4) versions if you count the sl1000 tweeter.
