I got a pair if RT1000P's in black for $100 with monster sub cables. And a pair of RT600i's for $80 also in black. Woohoo

    Congrats! What is familiar about your find is that I bought a pair just like yours from CL and they guy threw in a 25' monster sub cable along with the speakers. Nice score!

    I tried them out last night, LFE doesnt work on either so I had to make my own jumpers... but for $100 you cant go wrong. Next stop is the RT3000's.... all I have to do is sell a car and they are mine haha.

    It really depends in what condition the speakers are, i.e. I wouldn't sell my cherry RT1000p for less than $400 just because I rebuilt them from ground up.

    - check the tweeters, a lot of the times people fry them
    - check the amplifiers, I've seen quite a few dead ones (although they are easy to fix)
    - check the cosmetic condition; I find that "foam" stuff at the front gets dirty and deteriorates very easily, especially on the corners.
