It's not that I'm insensitive, I just don't care.. -
I am in the process of building mine. Just bought a house with a 20 x 20 basement living room. only a 6.5' ceiling but the house was too good to pass up (upstairs rents out so I basically live for free!)
Going to be a dual-purpose living room with a dedicated theatre room kind of layout. Walls still missing and 14/2 cable strewn EVERYWHERE! Insulation is itchy!!! Need a beer and a smoke.
Pics are taken often throughout the build. Can't wait to show off and get some CC in a few weeks. (as long as its ready by the release of Modern Warfare 2!!
Love the rooms posted so far, wish they could be mine! -
hey rob, do me a favor. grab a tape measure and hold up 65" of it against your blank screen por favor.
edit: oh, yeah. then take a pic and post it here. thanks.

Very nice, novel idea but how do you keep the chair attached to the ceiling and your self attached to it.?

Man, a carpeted ceiling. That is so 70's!"Don't forget to change your politician. They are like diapers they need to be changed regularly, and for the same reason."

Not nearly as good as the awesome ones here, but it's been a major budget build. Next things to get is a decent sub and some better surrounds, but have to save up some money first. Maybe next year.
My dog Jack decided he wanted to be in the pic a bit too, haha.
-
My HT has been "done" for awhile now, but it really never ends IMO. The idea was to fit a dedicated HT in a fairly small space without changing the main structural beams / walls of the basement.
-

He's not sitting in the chair. If the chair is upside down and he's sitting in the chair, then the resulting picture would be right-side up. That's how mine come out when I take a picture sitting. -
