Parasound readies $400 CD/SACD player

Anyone caught that bit of news in Stereophile's coverage of the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest about a $400.00 CD/SACD player from Parasound? It's to be a part of the company's half-width Z-series components.
Parasound CEO Richard Schramm (right) introduced three new products: the John Curl-designed JC3 phono preamp ($2000), Z CD/SACD player ($400), and Z phono w/USB ($400).
