Sunfire ultimate receiver opinion needed

I Guess I had posted on the wrong section of this forum, got no responses or no one has had any experiences with this receiver. Pardon, me if this is the wrong approach. Here is my repost:
Hello All,
I have a dilemma again... I have a very decent pair of SDA 1c that have been upgraded slowly. I started with spikes, then Dynamat the baskets, and pretty soon rdo-194. I am going the rdo-194, because I don't want to get too crazy on the upgrade, crossover and rdo-198 are beyond my means of ability.
As far as power goes I started with my older Adcom gfa-545ii, and they sounded great, but lacking fullness, depth... Then I got a Conrad Jonson CA-200 integrated, the sounded fuller, but something was missing on the low end, too much mids kinda, and the highs were too in your face...I then got a gfa-5500, and now my depth, and lows were very full, but once again too much mids.... all of the above have been via a gfp-450(adcom), with the exception of the Conrad Johnson CA200, which I ran on its own, and via the gfp-450. I seem to be happier with the gfa-5500.
Now my dilemma: I have an option to get a sunfire ultimate receiver at a decent price. Taking all of the above, and the polks sda-1c that I love, anyone have any experiences driving the 1c with the sunfire ultimate receiver? Will it be worth my troubles? Any other input would be appreciated. Thanks, Carlos

I have driven 1c's with Sunfire power, and they sounded fantastic, but I do not feel you will get better performance from a receiver than from the separates you already have listed. If your intent is to bring them into a home theater/surround setup, I would consider getting a receiver that has preouts and an excellent surround decoder that has up-to-date deconing capabilities, and continue to run the gfa-5500.
I would also upgrade the crossovers and your tweet's. The 1c's can only accept the RDO-194's anyway as there is no TL upgrade for them. The Gear... Thanks, I am not looking to do a home theater set up. Just plain 2 channel stereo. I am just having the issue with too much midrange. Otherwise they are sounding ok. The crossover upgrade is beyond me, that is why I was leanning towards the rdo-194. Thanks John again.

NP man... If you are not going with a home theater, then save the coin and take care of those 1c's. If you want to try something different try a Sunfire stereo preamp or maybe a two channel amp.The Gear...
