You meet the nicest people here....

As the title reads, my wife and I got to meet another great person here from the Polk Forum on Tuesday. Mr. Jim Thomas(aka jtgranby)

How this all started was Jim was reading over one of my posts about "SDA2B's in Pittsburgh" and I happened to mention what Speakers I was really after.(SDA-CRS+'s)

The next thing I know is I get PM'd by Jim and he proceeds to tell me "I've got 2 sets mint". Well at this point I'm about ready to fall out of my chair. I mean how lucky can I possibly get ? Could I possibly get these speakers in that kind of condition to complete my dream speaker setup ? This can't possibly be happening, could it ? Well it did and I am completely estatic with whole entire transaction.

Now for a little bit of my thoughts on Jim Thomas(jtgranby)....To say that he is gentlemen would be an understatement. He could not have been more accomodating to my wife and I. It literally felt like that I was meeting a person who I've known already for a very long time, even though besides maybe answering each others posts on this Forum, he and I are / were complete strangers to each other. Not anymore that's for sure. I just really can't say enough about him.

So after our 600Mile round trip to Jim's house, I had some time reflect on what had transpired between us.
It just makes me feel so good to know that there are still good people in this world of ours and wouldn't you know it....I had the pleasure of meeting another one HERE, on this great Polk Audio Forum.

In closing, I want to thank Jim(jtgranby)again for selling me the SDA-CRS+'s to complete my "dream speaker setup" and if this hasn't been said before, I'm going to say it now....Thank You To Whoever Is Responsible For Having, And To Allowing This Awesome Polk Audio Forum To Exist.

It was my pleasure to pass these on to you as you could see I really do not need them just sitting in my LR.I have met a lot of great people on this forum and it is a special family. Like I said anytime you want to tour DC just give me a shout.
