Stock stereos and aftermarket amps????

I have a 2007 Accord and I have 2 12's and a good amp with cap ready to go. Well... I have s stock stereo that has Navigation built into it.. I want to hook up my system but I want to be able to control music. Well I got the line level out converters and was going to pay a guy to install them but I was told that if you instal them post AMP you will burn them up.. The guy that was going to do the instal was installing them post amp..

(They need to be installed after the head unit)

I dont know what to do... I cant pull the stock radio and I want my BASSS!

    This should be asked in the Car Audio section of the forum, but I know enough to tell you, the LOC (line output converters) needs to be hooked to the speaker outputs of the headunit. Then you send a low output (RCA) signal to your amp.

    Your installer should know how to do this. If he doesn't, find someone else.
