I still play the original Unreal Tournament from time to time. I never really got into Quake for whatever reason. I guess i was a member of the enemy camp.

Ha! I liked UT too. I still have a copy of it around here somewhere!
Still, I played way more Q2 and Q3. Mostly Q3. I actually met John Carmack once. Total genius.

I play old games, like Quake, Unreal Tournament and Original SOF. As mentioned, shotgun was a beast: what a great game engine when it came out. Here's one for you: Serious Sam.

I've played Ghost Recon and all 3 expansion packs probably 4 dozen times EA. over the past 7 years. I have yet to find a game that allows the joy of being a sniper as well as GR did/ does.
I refuse to argue with idiots, because people can't tell the DIFFERENCE!

    SOF2 is vintage? Really?

I think Quake 3 arena and Unreal Tournament might be old enough to get that honor.

I've never heard of a "vintage" game before but if there is, they are cartridges not cds. Come on guys these games are ten years old at best.

How about blades of steel, I still play that game sometimes with my buddy (though i'll admit we play it on the wii) or the original legend of zelda. Maybe super metroid (though 94 is still too new to me).

My point? don't call unreal tournament "vintage";)

Anyone ever hear of Treasure of Tarmin? Doubt it honestly, it was the second of 2 advanced DnD games for the Intellivision(now thats vintage!), anyways that game alone made me a gamer for life! I believe it was the first 3D first person games made. My parents bought me that system in 1980 for $350, that must be equivelent to about $1100-1200 now. I got it for christmas that year and I was told later on that my dad and older brothers were playing it for a month before I got it on christmas day lol.
Most of them only hear how loud it sounds, and the rest of us hear everything else -
