Let us know what you think about this after you've auditioned it. Pictures at an Exhibition is my favorite classical piece, and I currently have three versions including the Telarc SACD and the Living Stereo SACD. I absolutely love the Living Stereo version.

Yes please let us know what you think, orchestral performance is just as important to me as recording Q. Should be a good one!

The recording is, indeed, one of the finest recordings existing. I have owned the vinyl and fully expect the SACD to be up to par. The Living Stereo series along with Mercury's Living Presence recordings are, for the most part, the golden age of classical recordings. I will also be waiting for your critique of this new version!

I received this CD today and gave it a listen. Excellent dynamics and just an extremely high quality recording. Hard to believe it was recorded 25+ years ago. One of the best classical SACD recordings I have heard -definately recommended.
