Anyone know of a cheap source for Motor/ start Capacitors?
Rat shack doesn't have them...don't know others..
I need a CBB60 60uF +/- 5% 250v 25/70/21 50/ 60 hz Capacitor for my electric pressure washer.
Motor wouldn't 'start' and when I pulled the Cap, it is totally 'blown out', the bottom is literally pushed out with greyish residue around the actual cap.
Thanks

You'll probably have to go to a hvac supply house. Or you could try a Sears parts supply location. Or any shop that repairs them?I refuse to argue with idiots, because people can't tell the DIFFERENCE!

I was just thinkin about sears...
As far as repair, its not worth much $$
I got it for $15 at Thrift store and it worked a couple of times, but they are only $120 +/- new anyway...its a 1800psi electric..great for washing car or driveway...
saves pulling out the big gas powered one....plus it is quieter -
buy a similar item then pull out the caps on that one and return it.....;)Godspeed,

I found one...now the only question is if sending another $25 is worth it.....
WIsh there was some way to know if the motor and pump would hold up...
A new unit runs $160 at Sam's club, so in that extent I am ahead....
just hoping I am not throwin good $$ after bad...

I also found a local supplier I will call tomorrow...
An another note...dang that was a great game. -
6$ plus shipping. If you can fit a bit larger, they are around 4$, don't think it should matter too much if your off on the uF rating, as long as the power max is similar.
