So, I have a pair of RT7s as my mains, and would really like to undertake a project to beef up the cross overs in them mainly as they are getting older.
What type/brand of caps would you modification gurus suggest?
BTW, thanks dorokusai for posting all of those crossover schematics. I was very pleased to be able to get my hands on the RT7 diagram.

Sonic Caps, Claritycaps, Obbligato capacitors, etc... For resistors Mills or Mundorf.
I should be modifying a pair of RT800's soon, which use a similar crossover. One of the things planned it to upgrade the inductor to an air core unit: http://www.madisound.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=404_20_30&products_id=977
I'll try to remember and get back to you and let you know how it worked out."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche -

Sweet! Thanks Face. I'll have to look into those. Yeah, I want to change the inductors and resistors to better quality stuff too.
