Polk CS200 and 2 R1 How do I connect

Hi,
Im new to electronics.
I have a Polk CS200 and 2 R1 shelf speakers plus a TV with the standard yellow, red and white ports and a DVD player with the same 3 ports.
How do I connect the speakers to this TV-DVD set?
If its just a receiver between these then whats the simplest and easiest receiver out there to make the connection. I am not interested in hi end stuff just the simplest device out there to use my speakers

Yes, you will need a receiver/ amp to do this. The white and red connectors are audio, and the yellow is video. It's really easy to figure out.
