iPhone DirecTV app saves the day...

We were at Red Robbins last night when my son realized that he forgot to record "Medium" on CBS. So, I said no worries, fired DirecTV app on my iPhone, picked the show, and hit record (it even allows me to pick which receivers, since we have three DTV DVRs). Got home and saw that it was recording the show. How cool is that?
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

I do. "Entourage", "Hung", "Hell's Kitchen" , "Fringe" and a few others. There are a few shows such as CSI: SVU that are part of the weekly views with no season's pass setup, and a few of those spur of the moment episodes.

Yeah, but it's much easier to carry my iPhone with me to a restaraunt. There have been countless times I've used this, mostly for one time shows that I forgot to set up before. I suppose I could be more dillogent about getting these set up before hand, but why?

Duh the point is he forgot to record it. Verizon FIOS, and U-verse also support this feature.

Well sure but what if a new show just came out that you just saw an ad for while you were somewhere and it piqued your interest, you can set up your little season pass from anywhere. What if you aren't going to be home for a few days and someone recommends you a show, rather than write a note to set up your season pass from your DVR when you get home you can do it in a matter of seconds wherever you are, bud. ;)
