Lazy but I love it

We now have caller ID on our TV so I don't even have to get my lazy butt up to see who's calling. We are the type who never answer the phone when we are home. Now we can see if it's worth while turning the phone over to check the display!

We have a land line as we have an alarm system hooked up to it and it's the cheapest way for longdistance calling right now. We are trying to figure out a way to get rid of our landline.

I have DTV to display who's calling. Yes, it's nice to be able to ignore those calls from 866#
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

Willow, if you keep your computer on 24/7 you may want to look into MagicJack. Don't know if it's compatible where you are but it's an option I'm currently entertaining.

I guess I'm old fashioned, but still have copper. I never changed from rotary to pulse until that was all the phone co. offered. I just let the answering machine answer calls, if I want to talk I pick up. If they do not leave a message, couldn't have been very important.

I do have a PC, cell, 7.1 AVR and plasma so maybe I'm not old fashioned, and I just don't like talking on a phone.

It's nice see the call come in, and to watch the telemarketers attempt to ring, and ring. I don't really know why, but not ever having an actual phone hooked up to that number makes me giggle.
