Taken off the AP site.....damn we might need to update our company Zombie plans

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The University of Florida's response plans for a zombie apocalypse are no longer available for public consumption.

University spokesman Steve Orlando said Friday the university removed a link to a disaster recovery exercise, which detailed how the school could respond to an outbreak of the undead. The link was taken down late Thursday afternoon.

Orlando says officials felt the joke "didn't really belong" on the site, which also included plans for dealing with hurricanes and pandemics.

The exercise lays out the university's response to attacks by "flesh-eating, apparently life impaired individuals." It notes that a zombie outbreak might include "documentation of lots of strange moaning."

Orlando says the employee who wrote the gag wasn't punished, saying that it was written by an employee to "add a little bit of levity" to disaster preparation discussions.

I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

The World War Z book should also be required; lots of insight to the worldwide pandemic spread of the undead.

    Good call...
I believe they're making a movie with Brad Pitt.

Yuppers.... I'll probably be there. We did a few in Louisville and they are a blast. All the stores and venues in the city are cool with it, so it really turns the town upside down. Some of the people's faces are priceless. Can ya imagine picking up a gallon of milk at Krogers when a hundred or so zombies come waltzing in? Hysterical.

Not anymore. It's still my hometown, but I currently live outside of Atlanta. I really miss Old Louisville. It's a really bohemian, laid back part of town. Lots of shows. Ma and Pa record stores. Any kind of food you can imagine. I try to get back there whenever I can.

Yeah; I'm thinking of moving there or Atlanta. I have to find an agency that can put up with me first. I think I'd like Louisville more. But I have my roots much closer to Atlanta than Louuisville, the way the crow flies.

    Anyway... Back to Zombies.

Dawn of the Dead zombies (Romero's social dialogue zombies) or Dawm of the Dead remake zombies (Zack Snyder's scare the **** out of you zombies)?
