Rated "R" films need more nudity

I'm tired of seeing "crude sexual humor", "language", "drug use"...and so on yet no nudity. Back in the day nudity WAS the reason for a film being rated "R" and now, it almost doesn't exist. WTF?
If...
Ron dislikes a film = go out and buy it.
Ron loves a film = don't even rent.

you must be watching the wrong movies... i see a lot of nudity in R rated movies.. mostly the ones like American Pie type movies.. those always how boobies in them. lower your movie watching standards and you'll see plenty R rated nudity. :)

..and how old is American Pie? Yeah, 10 years old. How about some more recent R films with some good nudity?

Just using American Pie as an example... that genre of movie is more accurate...

what used to have nudity has been replaced by drug use now... that's what people are being shown now... and I guess movie goers want to see drug use over boobies. I can't help that.

I agree, and it needs to be full frontal female nudity. In fact, there is no excuse for any movie or TV show to not have nudity.

I'm thinking the MPAA rating watcher people didn't stay for the end-credit photos, otherwise they would probably have slapped an NC-17 on that sucker (no pun intended).

Yup, kill as many people and show as much violence as you want, you'll never get more than an R, but show enough nudity and you're NC-17.

Awesome priorities we have in this country.

There is ample nudity in 'R' rated movies if you're watching the right ones. That's the way it's always been.

By and large, most successful actresses aren't going to want to heave their **** or beaver out on the big screen for obvious reasons -- it shows you don't have much personal dignity. Plus, they don't need to do it to command big money to be in a film.

When it happens, it's usually (not always) a young actress hoping it will help make her relevant or it's some older woman who is hoping it will help maintain her relevance.

It usually doesn't work out, but sometimes it does.

If you want nudity start watching more 'R' rated 'B' movies, there's plenty of it.

Isn't there a website that tells you which films have good nude shots/scenes? I remember them talking about it on the Bob&Tom show. Unfortunately I can't search for it while at work.

Whoops! I see Ron posted the site above, Mr Skin!

I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

I saw Gia when it was made, and it is a great movie, and she looks great. However, I seem to remember reading she had the nudity removed from the DVD version, and you needed to get the VCR version for all the nudity. I hope that isn't true.

rated R movies does not have to mean nudity... crude language will also merit a R rating. If nudity is all you want, you should for other venues. I don't care for movies with gratuitous nudity if it is irrelevant to the plot....

I've only ever seen the DVD version, but it certainly has plenty of nudity; not sure if there used to be more.

She's been nude since then in film so I can't imagine her puling a fit over that one for any reason.

Many of the actors are stipulating in contracts and or turning down scripts with nudity in them. Many actors who used to star in movies with brief or pro longed scenes of nudity have refrained from such due to children and their spouses.

I totally respect actors that avoid those things.
