Speaker Wire

I am looking to step up from monster wire to something with a little more quality. Any site that I am referred to MUST take paypal. I am looking to get about 30-50ft maybe more.

The usual recommendations from here are www.monoprice.com and www.bluejeanscable.com. Good value and good cables. I know BJC takes Paypal, not sure about Monoprice, since their site is currently down for maintenance, but I would be surprised if they don't.

Monoprice does take PayPal. I just ordered from them 3 days ago.

A step above Monoprice and Blue Jean Cable might be bulk Cardas Crosslink speaker wire from Moon Audio ( http://www.moon-audio.com/index.htm ) or elsewhere.

I don't know how easy it is to self-terminate, but it is advertised as being sold in bulk and recommended for use in car stereos too (Cardas advertising).

50 feet (two 25 footers) of true 10 gauge wire with banana plugs to boot. Awesome deal for 38 bucks.

I'll vouch for that deal. I got some, and it is pretty awesome.

I'll add that the bananas on these fit really, really securely in the PE binding posts. I thought I'd have to use spades for the vertically hanging posts of my sub design, but it takes about 10 lbs of tension to pull the bananas out.

Shoot If I could I would love to get those dragon wires. They look really nice. Maybe next year. Thanks stililearning I will take a look at that wire.

PS Audio Xtreme Plus? I have a pair of 4 meter in the velvet bag and box. New replacement bananas and spades. You can use either spades or bananas on these. Not cxheap, but damn good. I take PayPal.
