2 Channel Amp

I am looking for a 2 channel amp for my fronts, as I have noticed that I will be needing more power for them than my receiver can give them. Looking to spend no more than 220, I have a list of items I can trade for it just ask.

Any ideas as to what you want? What are you trying to drive?

Well right now a set of Infinity 2000.6 at 8 ohms. But I might be upgrading them if more power does not help. I just want to be able to drive anything I want.

Alright, gotcha. Well, i'm on the lookout for an upgrade for my system... if something materializes quickly, i'd sell my Oinker for cheap, but someone else will probably have something for you first.

I'll look around locally for you, too... i don't mind grabbing something and shipping it out.

I am sorry, but for $220 that is a tall order. I bought a used Carver off of ebay for 300+shipping that will drive many speakers and will handle 4ohm loads. But it is really the bottom of the totem pole as far as mid-fi is concerned. I would consider upping the budget and buying used. Many here like Carver and Adcoms for the lower end of the scale. I obviously prefer Carvers.

I have kenwood sub 10 inch, Alpine head unit can not think of the model right now but it has the stealth face that hides away when not in use. Kodak 8.1 mp camera, and a few other odds and ends.

Would that be better than the 100 watts in the pioneer? I am new to separate amps. The receiver is a pioneer VSX-D514

External amplification is always better than that of an AVR

Probably true and probably sounds better as well. I know it is true for car audio.

The Phantom face Alpines? What model number?

Ya that is it I know they are rare and a lot of people like them I forget the model will have to look when I get home.

I don't remember if there was a double din Phantom.... but if there is, i want it.
