Help choosing surrounds and sub

I have TSI500's for the front and a CS2 center. I just purchased the Pioneer VSX-819HK receiver. So now I am looking for surrounds, but my best option is to use in-ceiling speakers just because of layout. Polk CS recommended the RC60i, but they seem so small in comparison to the fronts. Am I wrong? He explained the reason and it makes sense, but I am curious if anyone has a different opinion. Also, can I get good sound from in ceiling?

I was going to ceiling mount some other speakers but a few people on the forum suggested I not choose that path.

Lastly, looking at the PSW505 at JR.com for $250. Any thoughts?

Appreciate the help.

I have the 505 and its a great room shaker . Buy it for 250 and you shall enjoy all of the perks that come with polks outstanding reputation

I bought my sub 2 years ago and am apparently the 5th owner . Not one problem with it so I say get it before its gone

I don't know much about the in wall/in ceiling speaks, but the 505 should be a good start for a sub. At the price J&R is offering now, it can't be beat for a good starter sub IMHO. You will probably get a fair share of rcomendations to save up and spring for a "real" sub like SVS, Velodyne, Epik, and they are all very good subs, only problem is they have a starting price tag of around $800 unless you get lucky on the used market. I have a PSW125 and it works great with my setup (fronts are basically the same as you have, just previous models) Good luck and Welcome to Club Polk.
