Well, I'm on my first step toward some decent home audio equipment. I have a stereo receiver, and a sub, but then ran out of money...for now. Instead of using the bose cubes I had to drive my system, I managed to pick up some free speakers that seem to be doing the job until I can save up again for actual speakers. All I know about these speakers are that they are MTX, 5-10+ years old and I believe the woofer is 10". Can you tell me what they are?

Pull the grilles off and look across the top. Does it say anything?

    5" Midbass
    2"x6" Horn loaded quartz
    55hz - 22khz
    92db sensitivity
    75w rms

I just looked. It turns out they are MTX AAL 1240's. How this ranks amongst other speakers, I have no clue. It says 200 watts.
