Woohoo!! That's great to hear!!
I can't wait to hear your thoughts on it once you get it dialed in and spend some more time with it in the new house. The nirvana inducer-

I will say this --
Going from standard outlets and one 15 amp circuit...
To 12 awg wire in the walls, isolated ground hospital grade outlets, and dispersed over 3 20 amp circuits - my system is DEAD quiet. I mean like I can put my ear beside the tweeter and NADA.
I use to get about a 30-40db static constant. Drove me crazy for years.
I also noticed that it is much louder in the den - my room was so small I had to crank it to really get anything out of it.- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -

I can't believe how much louder the system is...
Use to I had to crank it - I mean sometimes into the 3 oclock position.
Last night I had it at about... on the 8 position and is was pretty loud. Not as loud as I like it at times but enough for casual listening...
I guess when you have speakers that large they really need space to breathe. I could tell immediately the high end opened up tremendously - but it is hard to tell with a really cold system, it all kind of sounds like **** at that point.
I should have something a little more concrete by tonight!- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
Strange, don't systems usually sound louder in smaller rooms? IT's the big rooms that require more decibels to fill the area.

Trey, what kind of speakers did you end up with again? I know you traded the Decades back in but I never read up on what you traded them with.~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~

I experienced the same thing.... It's not really a volume thing i don't think but more like it's not fighting itself to let all the details through. I can hear everything at a more comfortable volume than i used to in my room half the size of what my stuff is in now.I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

I ended up with the Tyler Acoustics Super Towers!
Yeah - in a smaller room bass is really hard to produce and honestly it is just harder to do anything in a smaller room.- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -

Yup! I think i had MORE bass in my smaller room, but it sounded like crap. Muddy, overpowering, and i could never get the subs to blend seamlessly.I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.
