Up for your consideration is a pair of AKG K-340 headphones. These are the famous headphones you saw all the time [back in the 80's] in music videos, recording studios and the like. I purchased them new from a store in Springfeild Mall, located in northern Virginia back in 1986 or '87. They are electrostatic headphones and if memory serves me correctly, there are 8 speakers per side.
Here is a link to a set that sold on the 'gone here recently....

Actual pic's will be posted soon. The cosmetic condition of these are not brand new, as they are rather old. Some small dings and scratches reveal that they have definitely been used. As a teen, these provided many an hour of musical bliss for me. That said, I haven't used them except to test them today in about 20 years. They sound great with no sonic issues whatsoever.
The ones on the 'gone sold in 8 days for $200 and I have to be honest with you, I have no idea how to price these. That said, I'll start them out at a sale price of $150.00 to see if there is any interest. Please PM me if this price is way off base and please do not respond in this thread if I am off base. I will adjust accordingly as PM's come in. If I'm not mistaken, the original sales price was pretty steep as a kid at around $375.00 or so.
First come, first serve and you must post on this thread if you are interested in purchasing these. The only reason I am offering these up for sale is that I need to fund a new speaker purchase....I really don't want to get rid of these but times dictate that I must. My loss is your gain. Thanks for looking and be sure to see my other items that are up for sale.
