RTI mid-woofer lacks mid-bass, it can gets annoying (if u feels the same for ur A3 u will for ur 5). i would go for A7 if I were you. 1 mid woofer+2 sub woofer is a popular design ull see around many tower speakers. A3 has only 1 mid range and I dont feel it lacks mid at all.
i would go for A5s if they are significantly cheaper.

Get the A7s and a relatively inexpensive used amp that puts out 200 or more like a gfa 555 or the carver 35 or something. I have them (actually the rti10s) hooked up to the 35 and with the extra power I have them set to large in my receiver and it really sounds great for home theater. It sounds good because not all the bass is coming from one area (the subwoofer obviously). This creates a more natural realistic sounding theater. However, if you cannot get an amp I do not recommend the 7's
---you can really locate explosions and high action scenes
