I have upgraded my analogue system to a McIntosh C2200 preamp and MC252 amp (a beast @ 95 lbs.). My Rotel seperates will be for sale soon. I am overjoyed by the increase in sonics and especially with my Rega P7 turntable. More Pace, Rythym and Timing.

Nice set up! Welcome to the black tux and blue tie club I had a 2200 with a 352 and it was just awesome to me. I've gone a bit nuts since then but what the heck, you only live once!

The Rotel stuff is good but you have certainly jumped at least one level, good on you for improving your Rig and as you know its standing silent but proudly waiting for you to bring it to life.

So miner, which of the 2 systems you have, you would consider your high-end?
I would imagen that with the B&W's you would have match them with your McIntosh.Current HT setup
Mains: B&W 804s
Center: Polk CSi5
Surround: Polk FXi3
Sub: Velodyne DLS-3750R
Receiver: Pioneer SC-07
Amplifier: Sunfire TGA5200

DBP: Sony DBP-S350
CDP: Pioneer DV-48AV
Interconnect cables: SignalCable analog II
speaker cables: SignalCable Ultra Speaker Cables Bi-wire -
I can imagine the Mc with Rega P7 and the Graham could definetly put some hardwood in the shed.

Oh, the Mc is definitely the higher-end stuff - but the Rotel hangs for the dollar spent on it. Yes, the B&W would be better suited for the Mc gear, but I am really enamored by the Dyn bookshelfs. My next upgrade will be to the Dyn Confidence C-1. The B&W are in the great room with my other Rotel setup - bigger room requires more oomph.[ -

If my wife is 'the shed' that has already happened. I have yet to try th Mc onboard tube phono stage but I have a suspiscion the GSP will put it to shame. That tubed phono stage is the weakest link of the pre.[
