VERY sorry for your loss. When you are ready, find a support group. It helped my dad immensely after losing my mom. They were married 52 years.

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

I wish I could help you....This is something you never get over, you just learn to live with it..God bless you and your family!!

I smoked for about 29 years and stopped when my wife was told she had COPD. After going through stopping smoking I think it should be illegal. It does a lot of weird things to you when you stop after that many years, at least it did to me.

Very classy NJPOLKER. This is the essence of CP.

Although I haven't posted my condolences, I can't help but think of you and feel for you ever since I read the OP. What a great way to honor your wife by sharing your experience and encouraging others to stop smoking due to potential health concerns. God bless you and your family.

Well, at least the Vikes won. Had the funeral on Saturday, church was packed. She would of liked that. Now, just have to pick up the pieces from this nightmare, and try to move on. not going to be easy, since we were together for twenty years. The house is full of her memories, so that may help. thank you all for your support.
