I've always wanted to have a groundhog mounted just for laughs. (I only shoot g'hogs, skunks & foxes due to worries about rabies) What would be a reasonable fee for doing a groundhog's head in the mid Atlantic region??:D

Not on the wall, but I caught 5 catfish 2 nights ago:
    All blue cats:
    6 LB.
    7 LB.
    8.5 LB.
    9 LB.
    25 LB.

Trying to get a 50 LB. Blue or Flathead catfish is my goal this year. Love it!!!

My last Lake of the Ozarks trip, I caught a itty-bitty blue cat, then a largemouth grabbed the cat....2 for 1!! I couldn't believe it. The bass was only about a 3.5lb'er, but the cats side fin got lodged, and I landed them both. It was awesome.

Wow what a beautiful animal. Steve you are an artist with photography.

Have you ever checked out this site? My son is a videographer with QVC and he turned me onto it. I'm on their mailing list and they have some pretty cool stuff.

Thanks Joe. I buy 90% of my camera gear from them or Adorama. Their store in NY is a mecca for photographers. If they don't have it...you probably don't need it. A great company to deal with...excellent CS and they stand behind what they sell (sound familiar to an audio company we know?)

That is precisely the reason I use a very long lens...and the fact that the GSMNP has a minimum distance that one must keep from the wildlife.

I've been in contact with Larry Ricardo and let me make something perfectly clear for you Mr. Judgemental, I shipped Larry's rings back to him in late December but apparently they never made it. Unfortunately I was unaware of this due to the fact that I was plucked out of my life January 3rd through no fault of my own at which time I was unable to do anything at all in my personal life.

I'm waiting on a reply for Larry.

This is the last time I am going to publically address this or any other personal issues. It's a shame that one is judged so harshly when all the facts are not known here worse yet be slammed when totally unavailible to defend myself or my actions. From now on I am taking Jesse's advice and keeping my personal life's trials and tribulations off this forum which is a damed shame because I really did feel that all here were part of my extended family.

Funny. I've always thought that if there's one thing that works flawlessly in this country is the postal services. I've never, ever lost anything.

    I'm out.

Well some more great fishing last night.
6 fish for a total of 94 lbs.
Here are some pics of the biggest...a 30 lb flathead catfish and a 26 lb blue cat.

Keep in mind I am 6'3" and 217 lbs and those fish are almost as long as my legs!
