Newbie here
I am interested in purchasing either the RM7600 with the PSW650 or the 7200 with the PSW550. My room is 18 ft. by 13 ft. , and 8 ft ceilings, and it is not on a slab. The carpeted room only has three walls(where the fourth would be is open into the eat in dining room and kitchen). Of course I would obviously like the superior 7600 front, center, and surrounds, but I wonder if the PSW650 is too much bass for the room. I live in a nice neighborhood and I'm not looking to annoy any neighbors. Anyone out there have one of these systems or anyone else who can help?

You will want to calibrate your system so the bass level equals the speaker levels. With the 650 you would not have too much bass, only better bass.

I agree with Fireshoes...
Next to the PSW1200, the PSW650 is the best sub I believe POLK has made to date.
