Last pair of JBL L-100s I bought at the SA had a price of 5 point 99 each. It was half price day. It didn't take a day to decide on that one.
If you've read my posts, I'm ashamed to say, half of them are about how cheaply I've gotten my system. I'd say that the 'luck' I've had getting it only proves that God must love PolkAudio speakers and wants He me to have them.
I don't have an 1/8 of the budget for my entire system (and my new obsession) as what some posters put into single components or subs. Seriously. So $30 for a thriftstore to my budget is steep. Really steep. Unless I know what I'm getting can either replace what I have (so I can sell it) or I can straight out sell what I find... Then $30 clams isn't a bad deal to me.

There is nothing wrong with building a system from Thrift store finds. I've seen a lot of good stuff over the years. It's amazing sometimes what gets donated. My turntable and one of my TFM-55's were thrift buys. Be happy with what you have until you can get what you want. It's the music that matters.>
