The job itself is not my cup of tea, freakn out of my league. I am a technical/ engineering kinda a guy and this is one is business, dealing with compliance/ regulations/ gov't policies...etc. but just doing it for the sake for being closer to home and save me 3hr commute. Figured I could spend the quality time with kids and have a better life. With blessing and I get this job, I could be at work in 15min..;)...more quality time for the POLKgears. Oh yeah, this is like a little promotion and good for long term.

As usual, I dont do well in interviews, freakin sweat attack. Perhaps, I could smoke some MJ Greens prior and have it smooth...:D:D:D Used to do this back in college, just before doing my project presentation infront of a big class AND it WORKS....

WISH me luck and prayers.
Godspeed,
D0661E

LOL, good luck Doggie, it's all in the attitude. Don't be nervous (easier said than done) and do your best, sounds kinda "Afterschool Special" but in the end all you can do is be yourself. :D

+1 You have a job right now, so even with the benefits of this new job, there is no need to be nervous. Remember your skills and worth, without being arrogant interview them as well. Keep in mind you can always say no if they offer you the job. For me becoming the interviewer instead of the interviewee so to speak helps me keep the nerves in check.

    Good Luck

Most employers today don't like hiring out of shape workers never mind smokers. I would not recommend smoking cigarettes, cigars, what ever before an inter view;)
    Best wishes.
    Ben
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

DID kinda well IMO, responded with professionalism etc....etc...

It was a panel interview with 3 interviewers so I already send the TY letters to each of them directly. SO hope and pray I'll get it. Otherwise, I am still blessed that I have a job to bring in some cash.

Just dawn on me that I made the shortlist but I am the bottom of the list....last in line. They had interviewed 4 b4 meh and found out today that they have a candidate inside their team thus it make sense now. They were just going down the list for formality sake and per HR policy.....Equal Opportunity Program...........Kinda a bummed out about it but I am thankful to God that I still have a job for many have loss theirs. God bless them.

Sorry to hear ya didn't get it..........maybe next time......

The reason people do so poorly in interviews is that they don't practice interviewing. Get to know yourself (not that way perv).......be able to confidently talk about your strengths and KNOW THE MATERIAL. A lot will show up and go totally blank........THAT'S when the nervousness sets in.......
