Now that im in a dorm room i don't really have room for or want to bring my minty my m10's here so i am looking for a pair of old polk bookshelf's. if the outside is beat up thats fine along as they sound right. im starting to go crazy listening to my crappy creative sub/satellite computer speakers. something under $100 would be optimal, as well as local pickup between Ames and st. Paul / Minneapolis.

    IDK where you are at, so I took a look at Omaha CL, and there is a pair of RT25i's for $70

    I'd find a pair of used RT-25s... I like them a lot. You can find them cheap too.

    im a guy. i am bad at spelling in the first place and i have been getting about 5 hours of sleep a night. now i can't decide what to do, I'm thinking about asking my roommate if i can put a big pair on our dresser but then i would have to share my stereo with him and he seems likely to find a way to break something. but if anyone has a good deal on any old monitors in the area i could try to make them work.
