The more I play with audio the more I realize people in the 50's and 60's knew more than we do. Tubes, vinyl, high efficiency horns, great transformers, simple point to point wiring and less parts in the signal line all make for better listening than DACs, transports, switchable everything, transistors, high current amps, PC boards etc.

That's why I am into Vintage Gears! $8200 Nakamichi Cassette Deck, $6000 Tannoy Speakers, and Marantz 9 Tube Amplifiers. Such a sweet sound! I could even feel Marilyn Monroe. No Affil to the sellers!

I've been looking at the Tannoy speakers also. I've never heard them but would like to given what I've read.
